2001
New life project
- Margarita, directed by her teacher Nicolás Dueñas, visits the Nueva Vida project in CIudad Bolívar.
- 23 families from Iowa, US sponsor the children and adolescents by contributing $25 per month.
- 30 economics students from the Universidad de los Andes join the cause and begin donating their time every Saturday
2002
Constitution
- 17 students and a professor from the Universidad de los Andes legally constitute the Nueva Vida Para Todos Foundation.
- Hundreds of volunteers and donors from all over join, through Julio Sánchez Cristo's campaign, our dream of providing mutual learning experiences and relationships.
- The second group of 23 children is born in the CIgarra garden in the Puertas de Paraiso neighborhood
2004 - 2005
Alliances
- Significant alliances: Club Activo 20-30 Internacional, Rotaract Laureles Bogotá, Fundación Cigarra.
- New Life Park Construction
- Playroom Construction
- The Foundation triples its number of beneficiaries to 70.
2005
Educational Model
- Creation of the Pedagogical Model of work on Saturdays
- A mobile group structure is adopted, giving birth to groups according to the age of the beneficiaries: Shani, Chahac, Cigarra and Laureles.
- Launch of the first website
- Increases the number of beneficiaries to 104
- 3 Star Matches, with artists and presenters recognized in the Colombian media.
- Practitioners from universities are linked for the first time: Andes, Javeriana, among others.
- The Youth Promotion Program and the Early Childhood Care Program are formulated.
2010
Growth
- This period begins with 150 beneficiaries
- 74 new beneficiaries are added in 2013
- The foundation opens its own headquarters.
2015
Talent Exploration
- Strengthening the strategic plan, management model and social development.
- Uniforms at 100% for children thanks to the management carried out with the Bavaria Foundation.
- New Year's Eve party at Multiparque.
- Musical Training program begins, provision of instruments.
- Individual, occupational and learning therapy reinforces the attention of the little ones.
- Parents are approached through workshops for families.
- Linking practitioners from: La Sabana, Los Andes, Monserrate, San Buenaventura; Workshops with Legal Medicine and Javeriana University.
2021
Creation of Junior Board
- HE commemorate the 20 years of the Foundation, welcoming new collaborators in the work team and members of the Board of Directors. The Junior Board is created to work with the volunteer network.
- Currently, the Foundation serves more than 150 children and adolescents, generating smiles through transformative experiences and educational opportunities that seek to break the cycle of poverty within the community.
